  • Dr.
    Heather Schueler

Hello, I’m Dr. Heather Schueler, I'm excited to share my story of chiropractic with you, but first let me share a little about myself.

My husband and I are blessed to be the parents of two amazing daughters. We like to spend time up north, camping, kayaking, and exploring our beautiful state. We love to travel as well. I also like to exercise, read and sing in my church choir.

I have been a chiropractor since 2000. I graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology. While in college a friend of mine invited me to come to a Chiropractic appointment. It was an amazing experience. Although I was only there once, the insight the doctor gave me into the wonderful benefits of Chiropractic care, was eye opening. I knew from that point on that Chiropractic was my future. My health also improved greatly once I started Chiropractic care. I had been a headache sufferer for years. Once I started getting my spine adjusted, I started feeling improvements in the severity and frequency of my headaches. Within a year of corrective Chiropractic care, all my symptoms had gone away. These experiences have given me the passion to share with others the fact that through Chiropractic care, you can live healthier, safer, and a more natural, pain-free life, without the use of drugs or surgery.

As a chiropractor and a mother, I feel strongly about the health of children. Because of this I have continued my education and achieved board certification in Chiropractic Pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Most people do not know that Chiropractic care can greatly help children, they only think it helps with back pain. Although it can help with pain, there is so much more Chiropractic can help with. Chiropractic is about helping your nervous system and body function optimally. Some of the children I see in our clinic come in with symptoms related to ear infections, bed wetting, or colic.

I love being a Chiropractor. I would be greatly honored and blessed to care for your family.

Our Doctors are Board Certified and licensed chiropractors who enjoy serving the Ferndale community. Being a staple of the area for over a decade, our experienced team use a "whole person approach" that allows them to promote optimal health and wellbeing in patients. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing the symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Devlin-Smith and her team of doctors are able to help you accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health!
